Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Workflow Ownership collects, how it is used, and how to ask us to delete it.
Who we are
Workflow Ownership is a small Bay Area technology service run by Vaughn English. We audit software costs and workflows for agencies and professional services firms and, when it makes sense, build small tools those firms own. We use AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to research, write, and manage our work. A person owns the business and is responsible for it.
This website
This website is a static site. It has no forms or accounts, and it does not set cookies or run analytics or advertising scripts. Contact links open your own email app. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, time, and page requested, to operate and secure the service.
Business contact information
To find firms we may be able to help, we collect business information that companies publish about themselves: company name, website, the names and roles of owners or managers, and business email addresses listed on the company's own website. We use it only to contact that business about our services. We do not buy lists and we do not guess email addresses.
When you email us or reply to us, we keep the conversation to respond to you and to keep track of where things stand. Our emails may be drafted and sent with the help of AI tools under rules we set. If you reply "no thanks" or ask us to stop, we stop emailing you and record that so it sticks.
Google user data
Our own mail tool, "Workflow Ownership Mail", connects only to the company mailbox vaughn.workflowaudit@gmail.com through Google's OAuth consent. It reads messages in that mailbox, creates drafts, and sends messages from it. Message content may be processed by our AI provider (Anthropic) to classify replies and write responses. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else except as required by law. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Client work
When a firm hires us, the data it shares for an audit or build is used only for that work, kept in a separate project folder, and deleted or returned when the work ends if the client asks.
Your choices
You can ask us what we have about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us never to contact you again. Email vaughn.workflowaudit@gmail.com.
